permafrost karst
   A nonkarst term. A pseudokarst developed in areas of permafrost due to melting of ice and frozen ground in a manner superficially similar to the solution of carbonate material in water. A general term embracing intrapermafrost karst, subpermafrost karst, and suprapermafrost karst [20].
